The Senate was approached by the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership (C&M HCP) to work with Southport and Formby CCG in reviewing the sustainability of acute services in Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust. The Senate was asked to advise on the Case for Change and the proposed scenarios for service change and advise on any clinical concerns relating to these.
