The East Midlands Clinical Senate were asked by the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) STP to review their forward transformation plans for urgent and emergency mental health care and planned community mental health services for adults.
The system is proposing to bring a number of largely separate community mental health teams within Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust together and to work more closely with partners in the voluntary, community and other parts of the public sector. The goal is that there is a much clearer joined up secondary care offer focused around the individual service user.
