Birmingham & Solihull (BSOL) CCG BIRMINGHAM PRIMARY CARE ACCESS TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME URGENT TREATMENT CENTRES
BSOL CCG approached the Clinical Senate to obtain clinical advice on the proposed Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) Services. As with other commissioning systems, the CCG is facing significant challenges in the provision of urgent and emergency care. The Clinical Senate recognised the challenges experienced by BSOL CCG and concluded that the clinical plan to move forward was in line with national policy. The Senate advised the CCG to work with NHS England in regard to agreeing a Stage 2 review, and public consultation.
