Between September and December 2013, the National Clinical Advisory Team (NCAT) carried out a formal review of the structural components of the Healthier Together Programme in Manchester. The programme was a large scale reconfiguration of acute and primary care. Recommendations were produced and in April 2014, the GMLSC Clinical Senate was asked to make an assessment in relation to the extent to which recommendations made by NCAT in their 2013 report had been implemented.
