South East Clinical Senates

Independent, clinical and strategic advice for health systems in the south east

Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Review of Community Services

The senate tested the clinical evidence base underpinning the proposal and provided a clinical opinion on the equity and quality in access. The senate considered the proposed community services model, which is designed to support the acute trust. The STP is not proposing to reduce the number of community beds but aims to ensure that the services are first in place (and integrated) and aligned to the concept of Home First.
