The Clinical Senate was commissioned to review the outline clinical model for the Tomorrow’s NUH programme – one of the Trusts within the national New Hospitals Programme. The aim of the review was to consider the clinical evidence base and rationale underpinning the recently developed proposals, providing an independent clinical opinion at an early stage of development for the transformation programme.
Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG and NUH are continuing to work with the Clinical Senate as they progress their clinical plans, and develop detailed proposals for the future hospital configuration. This will include specific focused reviews into areas where they are planning significant clinical redesign.
