Building on the work undertaken by the Senate in 2015, commissioners developed the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Hyper Acute Stroke and Acute Stroke Strategic Case for Change. The Senate was asked to review the Case for Change and advise whether it supported the recommendation that more work should be undertaken to develop the proposals to determine the optimal service delivery models. The Senate was also asked to recommend areas for focus which would strengthen discussions with stakeholders.
