The Senate is providing clinical leadership to the development of a thrombectomy protocol/pathway through a series of stakeholder engagement meetings and culminating in a clinical stakeholder forum to achieve consensus on: the role of the referring hospital; the transfer of patients and the role of the referring hospitals and ambulance trusts; post procedural pathways, repatriation and rehabilitation; patient pathways and flows and working with Trusts on the borders.
