As part of the move from the Together for a Healthier Future programme in the West, North and East Cumbria Success Regime, the Clinical Senate was asked to identify and provide a range of clinical expertise to support the development of a set of clinically and financially sustainable services. Support included review of proposals for Acute Medical Pathways and associated services (with focus on proposals for keeping patients in appropriate settings outside hospital based pathways) and development of a new model of elective care.
